August is National Breastfeeding Month!
Breast is BEST!! Let’s all celebrate the hero moms who have chosen HEALTH for their children! Not only are there amazing benefits for moms who breast feed, but no one can argue the benefits children get from their mothers' raw breast milk. We at OPDC want to praise and acknowledge the women who have made the commitment to health for their babies!
Breast milk and raw cow’s milk, for all time, have been used by people around the world interchangeably – especially when moms stop breast feeding. In raw dairy milk, all enzymes, beneficial bacteria, key fats, minerals, antibodies, micronutrients, and specialized sugars remain intact – just like raw breast milk!
Raw breast milk is BEST, but when you are done with breast feeding what is next?….more raw milk of course!! How much easier can it get?...Nurse as long as you can, then switch to raw cow’s milk – nature's perfect building blocks to healthy happy kids, and healthy happy moms.

The human infant is fed breast milk by its human mother. After weaning, the cow acts as the surrogate mother providing milk for the rest of the human life – through childhood, adult age and old age. The cow is verily the mother of the world.

The Raw Milk Holy Grail has been found...

Until now there has been a missing Government consensus on the nature and value of Raw Milk. A working group consisting of a broad consortium of Government, University researchers, doctors, raw milk consumers, raw milk producers and others working have published the results of their three year efforts. Dramatic findings about raw milk published by University scientists and doctors confirm that Fresh Raw Milk is completely different from Pasteurized Milk in almost all measures. It is strongly pro-biotic and immune building in special and essential ways.

PhD’s Independent Study Shows Raw Milk Drinkers Well Educated
Dr. Amanda Rose, PhD, has just completed a study of California Raw Milk Drinkers and Consumers.
This study and data was presented in Washington State at the Annual Veterinary Medical Association Conference in June 2009. Dr. Rose is a critical, independent researcher with bipartisan views of raw milk consumption.

 Martin Sheen, a long time fan of raw milk, enjoys a swig with Senator Dean Florez at a Sept. 9th press conference held at Venice Beach Wholefoods Market. Sheen was on hand to encourage Governor Shwarzenneger to sign SB 201 The Fresh Raw Milk Act of 2008 into law. Speakers at the press conference included Sheen and Florez, plus Collette Cassidy of Claravale Dairy, Christine Chessen of CREMA and Mark McAfee, OPDC. Channel 2 and Channel 7 in LA carried the story extensively.
